Labourpower Recruitment Services

About the Company

Company Information:

Labourpower commenced its operation in October 2002, in Sydney. The initial objective of the group was to service large industrial companies with their casual blue collar requirements.

The demand for this now sort after service grew at a rapid rate and the need to replicate this service in Melbourne and Brisbane was soon apparent. In March 2003, the Melbourne office was opened and soon after this in July 2003 the Brisbane office.

The Group soon had to add new complimentary services to cater for the demands of their clients, such as Commercial / Executive candidates and Training Services for both blue and white collar employees.

In September 2003, a new company was formed within the LP Recruitment Group, called “LP Consulting Services”. This additional brand was created to cater to the White Collar Commercial and Executive recruitment services being requested by the ever increasing client base of Labourpower. LP Consulting Services offers a complete White Collar Commercial & Executive recruitment package. In March 2004, the doors were opened to LP Consulting Services Melbourne branch and Brisbane followed in April 2004.

In February 2004, Labourpower Training Services was formed. This is a new initiative, set to revolutionize the recruitment industry. Focusing on; Induction, Staff Development & Occupational Health and Safety.

2005 was another huge year for Labourpower as we acquired Masgold Recruitment Services. A business operating out of Toowoomba and Airlie Beach (Proserpine), Masgold Recruitment Services is a business built off the back of some very strong individual industry experience. The Masgold team know their respective areas and the local business people very well. The acquisition allowed Labourpower to develop a presence in far north Queensland and work in specialist rural and hospitality industries.

Labourpower will continue to look for opportunities that will allow us to take on new challenges and develop new staffing solutions and strategies for its existing and potential clients.

We will continue to keep our competitors on their toes by leading the way in service delivery and innovation. With a national internal network of specialist brands, availing its clients the opportunity to stream line their human resource supply, improving their control particularly when multi sites are involved, reducing costs and simplifying their accounting procedures.
